This section of the Online Library contains articles for parents. We plan to make a number of articles available for schools to use as hand-outs for parents. In the interim, please make use of these resources to compile you own hand-outs. Please do not print and distribute articles without permission from the authors and/or the IMC.

There are many approaches to parenting which conform with Montessori philosophy.

Dr. Montessori's own view is best expressed in The Child in the Family and What You Should Know About Your Child, both published by Clio Press.

We highly recommend Tim Seldin's book How to Raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way, published by Dorling Kindersley and available from the Montessori Foundation Bookshop.
