Q&A DetailsOnline Forums The Montessori Foundation and International Montessori Council sponsor several online discussion groups and forums Discussion Groups
Discussion groups work by allowing members to send and receive emails to and from the other members of a group on any issue connected to the topic around which that discussion group is organized.
The disadvantage is that in larger discussion gorups, members may receive many emails a day.
Their advantage is that members do not need to remember to go to the forum itself to check up on new messages that have been posted; messages come to you. Many members simply read those that sound interesting, and delete those that do not.
Yahoogroups, the organization that manages the email broadcasting service, offers free membership, which allows users to read past messages or set their email delivery from individual emails to a daily summary of the topics that were discussed. In this case, members can participate in those discussions that interest them, without wading through those that do not.

Online Forums
Online Forums, or Bulletin Boards, allow members to post questions or comments, and to respond, in a way that displays each email sequentially on screen. Emails are not sent to your account, and you will need to remember to go to Delphi Forums, the company that hosts our Online Forums, to check recent messages.
