Description
The Montessori Art 3-6 program is designed to guide you in understanding Montessori art literacy. You will become knowledgeable and understand what art programming should look like in your school or home. Participants will understand how creativity and independent work can be integrated into the 3-6 Montessori curriculum. You will learn this unique sensory art approach to teaching art lessons, plus get foundational key lessons every child should start within four art domains. Additionally, learn how to support all subjects with art lessons, including writing, botany, math, zoology, and The Great Lessons. Participants will learn and participate in hands-on art key lessons. After completing all four training sessions, you will be prepared to start engaging students in creative artwork. The class meets five times on Zoom (Pacific Standard Time zone).

The course is presented live on Zoom, starting in November. You will be able to watch the replay videos of live sessions. There are assignments to better understand your students’ process. An art kit will be shipped to you to participate in key lessons in drawing, painting, color mixing, and crafting.
