Montessori Leadership forum: It’s Time to Check Some Monte-Assumptions
Taking Stock of What We’ve Learned
About Children, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership with special guest Jonathan Wolff
Wednesday, october 5th, 2022
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM ET USA
One of the few positive side effects of trying to conduct an authentic Montessori
program in the midst of a pandemic has been that we had been forced to re-think
the nature of the prepared environment, our instructional practices, and our
relations and communications with students, fellow staff, and parents. Perhaps it’s an ideal time to take a fresh look at some of our long-standing assumptions about how we deliver Montessori education. In this leadership forum, led by Jonathan Wolff, we will consider some Montessori practices we may want to reaffirm and retain; some that may need some alteration or updating; and some we may wish to delete from our classroom practices.

1:00 PM – 1:45 PM ET USA
How do we know where the line is between enough and too much? Where does too much lead us and our children? How do we get past the everyday “Gimmies” mindset and into the abundance and sharing the wealth mindset?” Join our team for a frank discussion about the long term effects of “too much” and, instead, help our children enjoy the richness of life.

Facebook groups for Montessori Teachers/Guides are now live!
These groups are only for Montessori educators. Please do not invite parents to join. We love parents and there are groups for them available here!
Please note, we will be posting the link to the How to Zoom and How to Use Google Classroom videos along with resources in each level’s group.
We store videos of all of our webcasts and much more in the International Montessori Council member’s resource center. If you or your school are not members yet, you should look into it HERE.
The IMC offers great benefits, especially to schools, and is very affordable because of its connection to the Montessori Foundation. It only takes a moment to join online.
If you’d like to know more about having any of us from the Montessori Foundation come to your school or present a live online class by video broadcast to your entire staff, contact email@example.com
