Solving organizational role vacancies with staff already part of an organization can provide opportunities for those staff to grow and develop and for the organization to benefit from their organizational acumen. Unfortunately, too often our knee jerk reaction as organizational leaders is to start searching for outside hires that can fill these open positions.
