The Montessori Foundation

The Montessori Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of Montessori education in the United States and abroad.

The Montessori Foundation works with the entire Montessori community, regardless of affiliation, as well as parents, educators, schools, and school systems that are interested in learning more about the insights, research, and approach pioneered by Dr. Maria Montessori.

The International Montessori Council

The International Montessori Council (IMC) is an international organization of Montessori schools, the men and women who lead them, own them, or serve on their boards, and other organizations interested in supporting the goals of the IMC. As an independent Montessori professional and accrediting organization, the IMC serves the entire Montessori community.

The Montessori Family Alliance

The Montessori Family Alliance is a partnership of Montessori parents who want to learn more about Montessori and how to support their children at school and at home. It provides 24/7 access to expert information, access to free webinars, and aims to unify the Montessori community through many varied resources.

To do this, first we must have a sense of how your children think, feel, and react. For example, take this child. He is looking up and you can tell that he is looking at someone or something really tall. He is probably looking up at an adult that he loves. Imagine how the world looks to him at two or three feet tall.
