Chip DeLorenzo, is the Head of Schol of the Damariscotta Montessori School, a private Pre-K-8 day school on the coast of Maine. He is a veteran teacher and school administrator. Chip assumed leadership of the Damariscotta Montessori School in 2001 when the school enrolled 25 children. Since then the school population has mushroomed to over 100 children. He has extensive experience in board development, 501(c)3 creation, school leadership, strategic planning, teacher training, program development, marketing/branding, facilities management and expansion, fundraising and development (including annual giving, general fundraising, capital campaigns), fiscal management, and admissions. Post-graduate education includes a Master's Degree in Education, CFP designation (1993-1996), and three AMS Montessori teacher certifications (3-6, 6-9, 9-12). Board membership includes Maine Montessori Association - President (2007-present). Chip and Sondra DeLorenzo live in Newcastle, ME with their four children, Quinn, Nicholas, Peter and Teresa. Specialties: Classroom management and school discipline, finance and strategic planning & implementation.
