Join us in reflection as we explore the myths of inclusion with Montessori special educator and inclusion facilitator Christine Lowry.

Inclusion = Equity
Using the positive framing approach, shared by Charlie Biggs, we’ll explore how inclusive education is an equity approach rooted in social justice. Diversity, equity, and inclusion- we believe in the concepts. But what does diversity actually mean to us? As leaders of schools, teacher ed. programs, and classrooms, how do we understand what it means to respect and accept the full range of human diversity? What might we need to implement equity in our programs? What knowledge, what strategies, what skills would we need to gain? How do our schools, our classrooms, and our Montessori community work toward social justice?
